My teaching experience spans over 9 years, and includes work with in-person, face-to-face teaching with individuals and small groups of ESL students in Japan and Russia. I also have about 3 years of purely online ESL teaching, almost exclusively to Chinese students. I work for both GoGo Kid and VIPKID. At the latter, I have taught 4931 classes to 625 different students as of July 2021, earning a perfect 5-star rating from the parents, who have submitted 1889 evaluations. In Russia, I taught students and adults in free talk (conversational) classes at St. Petersburg State University, as well as an in-person private speaking club for Intermediate and Advanced students in St. Petersburg. I am a native English speaker born in the United States, and I have a TORFL-3 certificate in Russian language proficiency.
